I play soccer and I want to stay in shape for soccer how can i?Every year I try to stay in shape but it never works.I want to run everyday but I don't want people I know to see me and I don't know how to tell my parents.My coach said that we should un atleast a mile each day but I don't know who to run with.I don't want to go by myself.What are some good diets to stay on and good exercises to stay in shape?

Maybe give some free advice about: Sports? thinkpink03 answered Tuesday September 13 2005, 8:37 am: lol well for starters, to keep in shape eat & exercise a lot. for eating, try to eat atleast 1 vegetable and/or fruit in each meal. eat what your normally eating but limit on snacks. just one tip to keep in mind is "only eat when your hungry and stop when your full". if you do that you shouldnt really have problems with being over or under weight. as far as exercising goes, just practice soccer passes and other moves in your backyard with a friend, sibling, or parent. even play a soccer game to warm up and practice. for the running, try running with a friend on the weekend mornings. go around the park or your neighboorhood so like you said, no one will see you because its morning. Also, since your coach said run a mile everyday, use a tredmill if you have one or go to the gym and use one. Just run a mile on there its just the same.
