Ok, I am runnin for homecoming Queen at my school, and i really really want to win. We are allowed to have four posters to hang up around the school, necklaces (like on index papaer and yarn or sumtin), candy, and fliers. But we are only allowed to spend $35 because they said some people would have a bigger advantage because they could spend more money or someting. well, I was just wondering like what should i put on the signs and stuff and the fliers and what kind of candy should i get?.....I will rate a 5 please help! -Amy

If you can't do good letters ask someone that is to do it for you, or use a stencil..really neat and creative posters attract attention..no one ever looks at the sloppy ones that just have someones name scribbled on it.
Ask around to see wut the most popular candy is and give it to ppl who get a necklace. For your flyers i would just type whatver you want on it and just put some kind of picture on it that makes it unique..like a big crown on it or something.
I would buy some stickers with like a crown..or something homecomeingish..and put those on your necklaces with just your name written on it and "for homecoming queen..."

Get glitter, candy, beads and string to make necklaces.. and judt put a few beads on it and like yooh said an index card. make flyers on the computer obviosuly.. and just things like that.. make your posters creative and showy.. like glueing beads and stuff on it. make 3-d things.. just have fun with it and goodluck ! Hope I helped.
krazy648 answered Saturday September 10 2005, 12:53 pm: You should start with a vote. You should ask everyone what their favorite candy is. If most of them have different tastes, you can buy a few variety packs. For the posters, let everyone know that you're telling the truth and being yourself. Your competition will most likely lie to the school just so they can get the Homecoming Queen spot. Buy bright color fliers so if someones walking down the hall, the flier would probably catch their eye. So they'll stop and read it. I wish you the BEST of luck and I hope you win:) I hope I helped. Also, the more friends you have, the more votes you should have. When I was in high school, two very good looking girls lost to a good looking nice girl. Barely anyone voted for the really good looking girls because they always acted like they were above everyone else. They made a lot of enemies.
As far as candy goes, most people love chocolate. It is cheaper to buy candy by the boxes at food wholesale warehouses, like Sam's Club. Make a note stating "Vote for", and your name. Put your name in all capital letters. That will make you name stick in their minds. On posters, make sure your name is in capital letters, and the biggest writing on the posters, possibly in glitter. Most people just glance at posters, and see the biggests words.
