are we gonna make it??
Hey, this is the first time that I have ever posted a question on line so bare with me. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and a little over one month. In the begining of our relationship, he used to do so many nice things like suprize me with flowers and visit me at my job or leave little note cards on my car for me to find. Well, he's stopped doing all of that. Dont get me wrong were still deeply in love its just sometimes I miss those little things. But when I try to confront him about it, we usually get into an argument because he takes it personally, as if Im saying that he's not good enough for me. That is so far from the truth. I'v even tried to shower him with little things like that hoping that he will get the idea and return the favor. I just dont want to have to beg him to do nice stuff for me anymore. Even remembering to call me is turning into a hastle. I have yet to forget about him. He says that he loves me but I just dont know how much. I feel like I should be put first. When we dont see each other for several days It really gets to me, but it just doesnt seem to bother him. Are all guys like this?? How do you and your boyfriend get along? Oh there is just so much more to say but I dont want to take up all of your time.Please help!!

well, we do fight. it is healthy for all relationships to fight. its normal and totally natural. not physical fights,tho. i have been with my boyfriend for over a year and seven months. My boyfriend does sometimes do little sweet things like that, but he didnt ever do it then like stop, so I cant totally relate. but you did the right thing by trying to talk to him about it. try to tell him that it is totally not a personal thing, and that you just wanted to let him know how much you liked the little supprises, and that you were just wondering if he would do that every now and then, again. Not all guys are like that. He may be busy. I don;t know how old you two are or if your school has started yet. but when my boyfriend gets busy and frustrated then sometimes that causes us to fight.
