ok what would happen if i like a 19year old and i am 13 years old and my mom and dad know abut him and i known him all my life and hes like my brother and both of our parnets kno we are going out would he still get charged for sagitory rape?

hey hun, well first of all because your 13 and hes 19 if you have sex he can be arrested for rape because you are underage, but not for dating. also if he is like your brother wouldnt it seem like your dating your brother but if its like you used to act like he was your brother and not ever since you started dating then i guess not. but if you think about it you 13 hes 19 thats quite a diffrense but then like wen hes 69 and your like 85 it doesnt seem as such a huge diffrence but it really is.

It's only statutory rape if you have sex. If you aren't having sex, he can't be charged with that.
HOWEVER- Depending on the state, he could be charged with endangering the welfare of a minor. Because you are well... A minor and he's a legal adult.
