i dont know what to do
when i was in 6 grade i went to a skool called AG...and then in 7 grade i switched skools....its hard for me but ive made a few friends...but friends arent the problem....in 6 grade i played violin for the AG orchestra...and at my new skool im on the orchestra also...but at AG i had a lot of friends in the orchestra and there was a bout 30 people in the class... but at my new skool...the orchestra only has 12 people and guess what...theyre geeks....its making me not like playing the violin because the class is full of geeks and its making me feel like a geek...but i wanna keep playing violin...what do i do

if you like it, do it. No one said you have to be those peoples friends, so if you don't want to be, then don't. If you truley like playing the violin, don't let the people stop you. Your real friends will understand.

I know how you feel. I played the cello with a whole bunch of geeks. But there was also two really popular girls who played violin. They didn't seem to care! So, be different and play the violin with those geeks, but just don't start acting like one. I ended up quitting because of the nerds, but I also had OTHER reasons. Don't just quit because of that! Maybe you'll become famous one day!

OKay looky here little miss. im uslaly mean about this stuff but im giving you a break and im ganna cut u some slack about being a nerd and all but im only feel sorry for you. now..you can either continue playing the violin with the kids and not like it or you can try to be friends with the kids and keep playing..or you can quit and play the voloin at home...maybe even get some lessons after school or at a music place instead of being in that class i mean your still playing the volin just with out those kids.....or you could stop thinking about the other people in that class and just focus on playing ur volin...OKAY

Dont classify people. If you like playing violin, then play violin. Everyone will like you more if you respect everyone. Popular or not popular. It may seem un-cool to be with the geeks, but deep down they are no different then the "cool kids" I hope I helped, cause I believe its true.

You shouldn't worry about what everyone else thinks, and if you love to play the violin you should keep playing it!!

get over it. People always made fun of me for being in band and I got called lots of names but once i got to high school I made some awesome friends and people start to get over the fact that you are in band or orchestra. If you love it enough stick with it and tell people to get over themselves.
