MFS answered Saturday September 3 2005, 9:32 pm: There's not a lot you can do, though admittedly stress will cause your hair to grow faster... so just worry about things... ;)
Hair grows in spurts and not all your hair grows at the same time - usually follicles grow in groups then go dormant for a while, then grow again after other groups have been active. I don't fully know how the cycle of hairgrowth works, but it is kinda intersting.
But again, as far as forcing your hair to grow, people claim that getting your hair trimmed will stimulate it to grow - not entirely true as hair cannot really record stimulus - you can stimulate follicles, but there's debate as to wether or not that really does anything. Stress I know for certain will cause hair and nails to grow at a faster rate. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
