I have a problem, i have a huge crush on this one boy that I've known for a long time. He always flirts with me and tells me his secrets, but im afraid that I'm going to be the best friend. What are some things i could do to be more than a friend. I'm also araid that he is just a big flirt. Does anyone know how you can tell if he may be one?

Okay, well, if you are his best friend, there is nothing you can really do to change it around. Be glad he confided in you, but if you want to try to change it, you have to tell him how you feel, NOW. Well to tell if he's just a big flirt is does he flirt with alot of girls? I mean like, ALOT? Cause then if he does, then he probably is. But I don't think he is. Some ways to become more than a friend is to defientley flirt with him!! Just try giving him signals that you like him more than just a friend. And don't be worried if he doesn't get those signals.. boys usually don't get hints very well. Maybe even try finding out through his friends or yours who he likes....I hope I helped!

Well since you said your his best friend and he tells you secrets you could ask him who he likes and if he stalls and get's sorta a worried look and look likes he's blushing then he prolly like you or you could ask one of his close friends to see if he likes you or is just flirting. You can tell if a guy is a big flirt by an example of this: He says " hey beautiful" you can possibly ask " hehe how many other girls do you say that to?" I know it's messed up when you find out your not the only one he flirts with and you dont feel special anymore. But if you don't want to end up the best friend. I think you should tell him how you feel if your brave enough. Or, if you're a shy girl, leave him a little poem telling him how you feel. Smile and flirt with him back. Be happy to see him when he's around. When he asks you how you are try saying " I'm fine now that you're here to make me smile." Just like he shares secrets with you, try sharing secrets with him too! He'll appreciate it. Try maybe hanging out with him ALOT more than usual to show him your interested in being more than friends. Or gently laying ur hand next to his. It may work! good luck! =)

Wow, you and I have so much in common it's not even funny. I'm going through the same thing right now and I've liked this guy forever!! He even tells me his secrets and flirts with me all the time. But ANYWAY, a way to tell if he likes you is have a good friend go up and ask him "Why have you been hitting on (insert your name here) so much? If he's a huge flirt he'll probably just blow it off, but if he really likes you he'll get all red and stuttery. (its kinda funny to watch) Or you could ask around and find out if he flirts with alot of other girls. Like if you find out he made out with a girl at summer camp after flirting with you the whole time *clenchs and unclenchs fists* then he's a flirt.
