ok so im from biloxi mississippi. one of the main cities that the hurricane hit the worst.luckily my family evacuated in time and are all safe.we left and are all staying with my aunt and uncle n cousins. ive been watching the news to see all the damage and everytime i do i start to cry. the city, my house, and everything that was in my house is all destroyed. all i have left is what my family brought with us. i know i should be grateful that im alive still but i cant stop thinking about the fact that theres nowhere to go home too. what types of things can i do to try and keep my mind off of this? thanks you so much

I watched it on TV it was really sad though. No matter what I say you will always have that memory and you will always miss your home. Anyways, just think of happy things and everything you had. Some people got it worse and have no food, no where to go. And its good that you are thankful for being alive but right now you have to try and cheer up. I know its hard but you will get through it and you will find a home again. Best of luck with everything! [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
