Try an orange oil cleaner for the wood. It has a nice smell and works nicely.
To train poockie, try buying puppy house training pads, and put them in an acceptable place for the dog to go. A litter box was a nice suggestion. The pads have a faint scent that seems to attract the dog to that spot. [ VixenDark's advice column | Ask VixenDark A Question ]

Draak answered Monday August 29 2005, 12:05 pm: As far as how much a new floor would cost... that I haven't the slightest. I would suggest calling and getting some estimates from contractors.
For cleaning wood you should use something like Murphy's Oil Soap (or something similar). Regular cleaning products are going to strip the wood of it's natural oils resulting in the hard wood cracking.
The smell is probably, at this point, ingrained into the wood of the floor. Since the floor is ruined anyway, you might want to try a good washing with something like pinesol or white vinegar. Sure your house will smell like the cleaning product, but some might find that more pleasing. [ Draak's advice column | Ask Draak A Question ]
