walmart has cheap straighteners ..i got mine for 15$ and i have wicked thick and wavy air and it works great..its called the cermain flat iron clamp 1 inche!! it works awesome

and yes it heats up like wicked quick like under 60 seconds! and it goes 1-20 so like 1 would be for thin air and easy to straighten and 20 would be for hard thick hair like me

Target,Claire's and Wal-mart carry cheap ones but just remember the cheaper they are the easer they are to breack
