Question Posted Monday August 22 2005, 7:07 pm

This is my first year in Jr. High, and I'm in advanced math... and I have NO study hall. I'm alittle worried that because I have no time to do my homework in school, and I won't have much time out side of school (I play lots of sports) I'll flunk math, and I've never gotten below a B+, I don't know if I can handle all these things in my first year in a very busy school. I could drop a voice, but I love to sing. I'm really not sure what to do, if you could please please help me I'd really appreciate it.

Your going to have to cut something out. JR High is suppose to be fun and you don't want to be stressing over things. Since you don't have study hall, you'll be doing most of your homework at home. You could also do some homework on your lunch break, in between classes or even during class (if you have some free time). Since you love sports and voice, I think you should pick one or the other so you don't have so much on the go. Maybe you could stick with sports, then you'll always have time to do homework. Then with voice since you love it so much, you could just sing while you're at home. Once you get the feel of JR High, maybe next year everything wont seem so "rushed" so maybe you could do more things. But for now, you should just stay with sports and such. Then next year see if you'd like to join back up to voice.
