I`m single and ready to mingle but there is a fiew problems. I get really nervous around guys and they tend to try and use meh (I dont let them) I`d really like to get a steady boyfriend cause I`m going to be going into highschool and its like a fresh start. This past year i had 6 boyfriends and none of them were steady. Also I am trying to get a job to help out my family. But I get nervous around people I dont know.. Any tips?

blondebombshell33 answered Monday August 22 2005, 1:59 am: hEy hUn! aHh! i totally know what you mean... i mean it can be intimidating when your with people of the opposite sex! but as stupid and obvious as this sounds.... you just have to be yourself! find things that are easy for you to talk about... i recently read in a magazine that your supposed to ask a tOn of questions about them... and let them talk about themselves because everyone knows so much about themseleves and love tellling people about them and it puts them at ease! so ask tons of questions and act really intrested! and be yourself! once people find out the rEAl you... they'll LOVE ya! so just let them know the real you! as much as you don't want to sound stupid or annoying... its better then not talking at all! good luck doLL! you'll bE fIne!

Find common interests with people and you can talk about that stuff with them, especially if it's current stuff, so there is a lot of room for conversation. It's good that you don't let guys use you, and you will find a guy that will be steady...it might just take time. Just watch out for the playa type guys. Hope I helped.
