You should then come up with a plot. Like what kind of characters are involved and what happens. The problem and solution to it. Write a script first, and go from there. Be original, don't copy other movies either. Hope that helps, good luck. [ HectorJr's advice column | Ask HectorJr A Question ]

Most people's first films are usually documentaries. You and your friend should make a documentary on something that you think people would be interested in. Maybe you guys have a cool hobby that not many other people do and you want to make a film on that. You could make a film on a journey to acheiving some sort of goal. If you do not want to do a documentary, then you could always do a fictional film. You can always do a film with volunteers from around town to help you with the set and everything like that. The way to make the film is to find a great film editing program from online first. Windows Movie Maker is very good. Download the program, and then begin filming with a digital video camera, so you can have computer acccess. Each day, take your camera and edit each day's work. Save your work each day, and then film more the next day. Keep editing and filming, and by the time you are done, you can make copies for many people to see. Happy filming!
