Hey i have a picture that i want to use on vampirefreaks.com but it can only be in .jpg , .jpeg , and .gif files. How can i get my icon to become one of thoses files? is it even possible?

Go to Control Panel, and find folder options. I think it is right in there, or it may be in "Display", depending on your Windows version. Click on the view tab, and change the setting on "Hide all known file type extensions" or something like that to the opposite. There will be a thing next to each icon that'll say something like wordpad.exe or .gif, etc. Change the one on the file to .jpg. Should work.

open the picture you want to save with your internet, or paint...dont use paint if its a moving image though,
right click
save as.
where it say the file type, change it to ALL FILES or .jpg / .jpeg / .gif
then name it and after type .jpg / .jpeg / .gif
example
mushroom.jpg
mushroom.jpeg
mushroom.gif
