I didn't know where to put this, so i just clicked a random category...
My friend came over here last night and she called some people that we met off the internet. It was after 9 so it was free, but I was wondering...it was with Cingular just FYI...but since it was free, would it still show up on my detailed billing? My parents are the kind that don't like me talking to people that I meet off of the internet, so if they found out that they had my PHONE NUMBER they would freak...I mean I wasn't the one talking, but yeah...anyways...does it show up on the bill even though it was free?
Additional info, added Monday August 8 2005, 2:53 pm: i know that the people aren't older than what they say becase i've seen pictures and they were on webcam...they were only 2 years older than me. hope i helped and please rate me!!! [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

sarcasticgal1221 answered Monday August 8 2005, 3:38 pm: Yup. It'll show up. Not that I condone lying in any way, shape or form, but a way out of this with your parents would be to tell them that you allowed your friend to use your phone to call a friend of hers. Only offer this information if they ask about it, though. [ sarcasticgal1221's advice column | Ask sarcasticgal1221 A Question ]
jean_nicole answered Monday August 8 2005, 2:52 pm: You should listen to your parents and not talk to people off the internet. You think 'oh big deal they just have my phone number' well you can get someones address from just a phone number. You have no clue as to who the people you are talking to are really who they say they are so why take the chance? [ jean_nicole's advice column | Ask jean_nicole A Question ]
Razhie answered Monday August 8 2005, 2:40 pm: Yes. Although I am not a cingular customer I am almost certain it will. But here is the real problem. What you are doing is dangerous, even if you weren't the one talking. Some stranger has personal information on you now, and you have no real way to know if they are safe or not.
