There is this guy form my school and church that i've liked for 6 yrs and he knows it. He has walked me to class and to my buss b/4, but is he just being nice or flirty. i dunno .how do i approach him without makin myself look like a big idiot

You shouldn't be afraid to talk to him about it. I mean, you've known each other for 6 years, right? And I'm sure you've had some pretty good times with him. So don't worry about looking like an idiot! He's your friend (maybe soon to be more), and he will understand if you mess up.
So sometime you could ask him if he wants to go on a walk. And then during the walk, just casually say, "You know how weve known each other for 6 years? Well, I really like spending time with you. I was wondering if you wanted to go on an actual date sometime with me?" By saying that, he should figure out that he likes you. And for a date, it doesn't have to be too fancy. Just ask him to go to the movies (scary ones are good because then you can cuddle up) or ask him to go to a coffee/deli shop.
So go ahead and ask him out! I think he likes you, and you two are already really great friends. You Won't look like an idiot! Good Luck!
