i was babysitting a 2 year old who can't talk yet, and by accident i knocked an urn off the fireplace and the ashes of the family's dead great uncle spilled all over the floor. i blamed it on the kid. i feel really bad but i dont want to get into trouble. should i tell the truth?

well it was only a accident and lying is not the best way out of things. I would say tell the truth and explain your nervousness and hopefully they will understand. Besides, it was an accident.
