I was playing a game on my boyfriend's mini iPod and it froze. I can't do anything with it, I hooked it up to the white charge cord. But it didn't do anything. I tried finding out how to fix this on google but all I can find is wait for the battery to run out then charge it up. Does anyone know anything else I can do to unfreeze it? Its a 4GB by the way if that helps any.
IndieKidsCanRock answered Monday August 1 2005, 11:55 pm: I know exactly what's wrong with the iPod. I have a mini as well and always seem to have this problem. On the very top of the ipod where the headphones plug in, there should be a little silver button-like thing that will say "HOLD" near it. Try sliding it the opposite way and then try and use the iPod.
If this isn't the case, I don't have a clue wrong with it. I definitly think it's the "HOLD" button that's making it freeze. If it isn't, try going to the website and clicking on help, or bring it to an Apple store in your nearest mall. [ IndieKidsCanRock's advice column | Ask IndieKidsCanRock A Question ]

Take the batteries out then put them back in and try turning it on again.. it should work.. its kinda like restarting it.. without the restart button [ jeanine278972's advice column | Ask jeanine278972 A Question ]

If there isn't a reset button, then... I can't help you otherwise. [ BestofBothWorlds's advice column | Ask BestofBothWorlds A Question ]
