What if you love someone but there is an old friend that loves you, and you don't know how to tell your old friend that with out hurting her. Can you help?

Well, your friend should be able to understand. If you love someone else you should go for it, your friend may love you, but that doesn't mean that you have to love them back. There really isn't a nice way to say it. All you need to do is tell them that it would just not work. They may hold on, but that isn't bad. Let them hold on to that feeling, and maybe some day it will come to use. Let her know that even though you love somone else, you can still be friends and will still be there for her.
