I have a couple of suggestions for you. #1 is maybe you arent talking to them enough should you set aside a special time to call them each day then maybe you feel so lonely. I understand completely that you miss your mom and friends so why not mail pictures and letters back and forth so you can see them and how they have changed! I am sure they miss you very much to and would love to "see" and "hear" from you. Email is also a very good way to keep in touch probably the easiest depending on how far away you are. And I am sure your having fun out there but have you considered coming home early? I understand that may not be an option for you but maybe you could ask... homesickness is ok for a while but don't let yourself get miseralble. I hope this helps. Let me no if it does
