its a board used to contact spirits. if you ask them a question suposivly a spirt will answer it by moving your hands over the letters to try to spell something out so you can read it. so basically its a board used to talk to spirits and what not. but some people have bad expieriences with them. so i dont think its a good idea to use them.

It's this board that is suppose to be powered by spirits. A part of the board peice moves by it's self when you place your hands over it.
