Hey, this is classicbetty. I just dyed my hair and it came out way darker than expected. I know it'll fade soon, but I was wondering if any of you knew about how long that would take? Thanks!

Get a deep cleansing shampoo for getting out clorine it will get out some of the dye.

I think it'll start to fade around a week, maybe two. I notice that when I dye my hair, it always starts fading in a week or two. If you want it to fade faster, just shampoo it a lot. You could also go into the sun. Sun always makes your hair lighter.

i noticed that hair dye tends to fade after about 2 weeks after you dye it.
if u want it to start fading sooner, i would wash it, a lot.

Well I suppose it depends on HOW MUCH you'd like it to fade, really. Perhaps a week or two? Of course it will progressively become lighter the more you shampoo. Also, remember that the sun's rays can fade your hair color faster than normal, so that might be an appropriate option, providing you can withstand the Arizona sun, that is.. =]

if it's darker than you wanted- use a clarifying shampoo, and wash it about 2 or 3 times. it should turn out just the way you wanted by then.

Not long i'm blonde and I just died my hair brown like dark, and 1-3 days l8r it was blonde again! I know crazy! but it might take 1 day to a week or 2. Trust me i've died my haie a lot! Hope I Helped!
