You GIVE advice, and the person who asked the question RATES you based on how helpful they believe it was to them. Make sense? :)

Basically, it is the response to the advice. We feed you advice (feed as in provide or give, not shove down your throat), and you feed back to us a rating about our advice.

they call it feedback because the person who rates your advice could also leave a little comment for you so the advice giver could know how she/he did
