They only want to keep you by their side because they love you. It's probably not intentional, they're not out to get you. I would suggest talking to them like an adult and ask them if they would even consider letting you do what you want. But keep in mind, no parent is going to let you do anything too outrageous, so don't get your hopes up for something like that.
