Karen answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 2:23 pm: Yes, baking soda is safe to brush your teeth with. There's toothpaste with baking soda in it. Don't worry, it won't leave your teeth glowing white. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
MummuM answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 2:10 pm: Yes, it is safe to brush your teeth with baking sode. It won't leave them glowing white, but it'll make them a lot cleaner and will get all the dirt off. When you go to the dentist, they actually use baking soda on your teeth. The stuff that comes out of that tube like thing that they clean your teeth with, is baking soda mixed with water.

DrJenny answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 2:09 pm: Mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide 6% strengh,(available form pharmacies)to a smooth paste. You may add toothpaste if you wish, do NOT swallow the mix. Leave on for two minutes then rinse thoroughly.
I do not advise you to use this treatment more than once a week.
