so what if i have this "friend" that i fight with all the time about stupid shit but i like being her "friend" or accuaintance because she is fun to talk to? then whenever i say we're fighting to people, i'm friends with her the next day and then people say "i thought you didn't like ______?" what should i do sam?

Well for 1 stop telling people you don't like her when your fighting. Because you obvoiusly are good friends who just fight, so just tell people your fighting and will probably be friends tomorrow, or my best advice would be just not to say shit at all. And when people ask just be straight with them and say we were fighting but we're cool now as usual. Whatever you do just don't talk shit because you know you'll end up friends and if that shit gets back to her I'm sure it won't make her feel good.
