my friend is dealing with anorexia. she was in the hospital for a while;; but now she's out. i`m really happy she's home;; but all her problems are still there. she recently had her bday and said a good present would be not to have to eat for the day. she`s one of my best friends, and she trusts me so she always calls me when she has a bad day. i`m glad she can trust me, but hearing about "bad days" makes it really hard to deal with. it hurts, really badly. she's so down on herself, and it kills me. i hate to see her like this. have any advice??

awww. well i hope for the best for your friend. but does she see a doctor or anything? not just for physical health, but for mental health, because anorexia is part that. & for some, therapy does help. it's not just for "crazy people". lol. but the most a friend can do is either be brave & try to tell her how you feel or tell someone else about it who can do something to help her. you shouldn't have to deal with it, & neither should she. hope i helped.
