For something like that the only way i can see parents letting you get it done is if you are verrryy responsible and don't do anything "bad" personally if yourparents really care about you they are gonna make you wait a few more years... your only 13!

Maybe you ought to try and improve at school with such things as spelling and grammar before you go for asking silly things like tongue rings! You are 13 and you already think that you know better than your parents. I cannot see why anyone would want to inflict pain upon themselves. Are you some kind of masochist? When you are older. And have left school, and got a job at the local 7-11. Packing bags or whatever. Then you can do what you want as regards hurting yourself with silly looking studs etc.. Now grow up and stop whining!!!

well heyy your 13 and all and idunno if you think its cool but tounge rings hurt alot...like so bad you kant eat for two weeks, and you have to keep it in for a long time. and skools about to start...and if the needles not sterlized you could get an infection...and theres alot of foods you wont be able to eat..i know im not helping...
but ask ur parents what are their reasonings for you not gettin one..and get back with me
