they will prob. have your number but it is EXTREMEMLY confidentual and they won't report it to the cops unless if you call them and say "im killing myself right now" if they feel that you are in danger then they will call the cops but it is extrememly confidentual so as long as you don't call them and say stuff that would put your life in danger they won't give out your number.. ohh yeahh and if you wanted to block your number hit *67 before you call and then they won't get to see your number.. hope i helped..a nd if you need anything else just let me no

confusedbabii answered Friday July 15 2005, 1:12 pm:
no, they could not get your number and call the cops because hotlines are confidential and they are not allowed to release any of your information like a phone number or name and they're not allowed to discuss what you talk about. hope i helped!

im not sure but if ever need the numbers theres 800-SUICIDE : 800-784-2433 or go to Befrienders International : www.befrienders.org (international referral service for suicide prevention) or the Boys Town National Hotline : 800-448-3000 (bilingual suicide prevention hotline for boys and girls)

They could if they felt you were in REAL danger of doing it right then. They'll try to keep it between ther two of you for as long as possible..

I don't believe so. If you call and you ask them before saying anything else, and you're not satisfied with the answer, you can just hang up and they can't do anything.

VixenDark answered Friday July 15 2005, 12:27 pm:
They probably wouldn't. Most places like that will keep it confidential, and try to talk you out of it. The thing you must remember is that those who call are not sure, and want someone to stop them. Thus, there usually isn't a need to call the police.

If they absolutely had to, though, they would.

Yes they COULD but they won't. They pretty much talk you through things and tell you that everything's gonna be okay. It's like talking to a therapist over the phone basically.
