because there's a nerve in the top of your mouth, and when something cold hits it then you get a "brain freeze" if you don't drink it really fast, then you won't get one.

Because all of the freezegoes straight to your brain cells instead of going down into your stomach becuz the cool is weightless which travels with your blood to the top of your head then gets inside of your brain and freezes it cold until your brain cells finds blood to heat your brain which will take about 3 min.
