I know what 69 is...but I was just curious as to why its called what it is. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm not too sure WHY they call it 69, but I do have an idea. I'm guessing, okay, for the number 6 and 9, you see how there's a little circle and a long curve? The circle represents a person's head, and the long curve the body. "69" looks like two people eating each other out. Sorry I'm kinda bad at explaining but I hope you get it.
