I'm going to be a senior this year, and I quit my job not too long ago. This year I want to be able to get enough sleep, focus on school, and make much better grades. (My job interferred and affected my grades really bad last year. I was way too stressed out.) But, my parents are forcing me to get job. And I am desperate for all the money I can get right now. (They are making me buy for my car, insurance, and college.) I'm not sure where to find a job with flexible hours. If anyone has suggestions, let me know. What would you do if you were in my position?

Anyway I'm an 11th grader myself, okay here is the deal if i were in your shoes... I would have done the EXACT same thing you did. You have your hole life to work but right now you need to zoom in on that school work you don't have time for the B.S as the old folk says. As far as Tarzan and Jane ( mom and Dad) go, You give them Three Suggestions. # 1 help you find a job with the hours you need. # 2 you can just stay in school without a job for now. or # 3 which I know if they are good parents in there right mind they would not want at all. You could always find a job and just dropout of school. remember this don't not let your parents have your life you are in control so good luck and listen to four things your god, your heart, your gut, and your soul and you will be okay my friend. Err if you don't live where they have those types of food places, those are basically ice cream stores and fast food resteraunts. Sonic gives AMAZING tips, my friend's brother got 100$ in tips one night..
