Well,I have naturally curly hair so it's a little different for me,BUT I do have to scrunch my hair to make it look wavy and get that certain type of curl. You wanna moisturize your hair so that it doesn't dry out from products and/or the heat and humidity,so wash with a moisturizing shampoo.Use a conditioner, but make sure it's a moisturizing one,and don't over do it!As soon as you get outta the shower, apply an anti-frizz serum.A great one is John Frieda's Frizz Ease Hair Serum(I call it a miracle in a bottle!lol). To scrunch your hair there are two really good products you should try.One is Aussie Sprunch Spray,it's good for a really light hold.Just spray it into your hair as your scrunching your hair with your fingers. The other one I recommend is Pantene Pro-V Curl Enhancing Mousse. It's GREAT and it smells yummy!Hehe Just squeeze a quarter size drop into your hand(a little more if you have really long and/or thick hair),rub it between your hands, and work it into your hair while you're scrunching it.A friend of mine taught me this trick:Since it's usually best to let your hair air-dry for more curl effect, wrap your hair into 2 Princess Leia style buns on each side of your head, using a scrunchie. Then take a third scrunchie, and tie and wrap those 2 buns together.Sleep on it and in the morning, take out the scrunchies, turn your head upside down, and finger comb the curls.I hope this helps!!Lemme know! :)

k what i do is i dont use gel that often..i mean you can but i find it really messy..and when i do i use this stuff called texture it comes in like a pump bottle..but also for some other ways to help out. You put the gel on while its damp then put you hair upside down and srunch ur hair while you dry it. then when your done scrunching for a while. get some strong holding hair spray and pray it on the roots of your hair in flat places..then if its not srumnched enough you can like curl some of the straight peices..hah thats it. <3 hope its usfullll

alright, well what i do is i wet my hair, and then use muse or moose or however you spell it (that french name hehe) and then put that stuff in it all over and just scrunch your hair like go from the bottom up and push your hair. i think you knew how to do that, haha, but just in case! so my advice would be to use moose! (sorry i don't know how to spell it) if you need anything else just drop one in my inbox! ♥frankie!
