My mom is so controlling when it comes to my hair. She won't let me cutt it or highlight it. I really want to highlight and layer my hair, but of course she won't let me. Should i keep convincing her to let, or should I just go with my friends and do it?

Well your mom may be really controlling but maybe you can start out just getting your hair cut more often. Then just one day ask her to get your hair highlighted! If she can't settle then ask her if you can get a rinse!! A rinse is where you get your hair dyed but once you get it it wahses out but stays in for about three weeks!! Then maybe you can try again with the highlights later!!
