I'm never gonna like my room ever. All i can do is reorganize that's all I'm allowed to do.
I'm trying to go for a girly type theme
I have a twin bed, small dresser that barely fits anything in it, a desk and a bookshelf that's attached to my wall. My wall color is offwhite. Where do you put all your jewelry and makeup and crap like that and I know this sounds dumb but what do you put in your closet and on your bookshelf should I throw my little house in the praire type books away or what.Please help

Well what u can do is you can get cute little baskets and put your makeup in it as for your jewlry put that in a jewlry box and put them on your dresser put your clothes like dresses and some t-shirts what ever doesn't fit in your dresser u can in your closet hope i helped good luck send me feed back thnx bye:-)

Your room sounds just like mine. If you want to change things around a little bit, I'd suggest getting some new bed sheets or something that would match your furniture. All of my stuff is tan wood with blue accents so my bed sheets usually match my furniture. Hey, it's a cheap way of making things match. I'm a collector of sorts so I have certain books I'll keep on my shelf and since it's low, I put figurines and stuff on top of it. On my dresser I have this little rack type thing that holds jewelry. It's kind of cute. It's in the shape of a little mini-mannequin and it has these little prongs that hold rings and bracelets. It's a surprising space saver. You probably have no idea what that looks like though... I'm horrible at descriptions! Anyway, if you need something cute to store jewelry in, go on eBay or look around at vintage antique shops. I've found some pretty cool things in those places. I like music boxes too. You'd be surprised at how much they can hold. I don't really use my closet... I'll put shirts like blouses and stuff in there that I don't wear much. My friend loves her closet though and it's filled with stuff she wears all the time. I guess it depends on the depth of the closet. Hers is bigger than mine and just way better.
By the way, if you don't use your shelf, just get rid of it. That'll free up a lot of space. Then again, you said it's attatched to the wall so that's a little difficult. Consider painting your walls. My friend's walls chance color all the time it seems!

I would put all of my jewelry in a jewelry box, and put some of my clothes from the dresser in the closet. I would definatly throw away those Little HOuse on the Prarie books away..unless you have some type of attachment to them.
