White bread isn't as good for you as wheat or whole wheat. White bread is known to add on weight, so avoid it if possible. When it comes to what you put on sandwhiches, such as turkey, ham, balogna, etc. Turkey is the best type of meat you can use, it has the least fat. If you like balogna, try ham as an alternative. It has more protien and WAY less fat. If you add stuff like mayo, etc..that adds extra calories and fat. Peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches are okay once in a while, but go easy on the peanut butter. Peanut butter has a lot of fat, but the good kind, and it has protien. so a little bit is good for you! Jelly, believe it or not, has no fat, but plenty of sugar. So, no..if you make good choices, sandwhiches do not make you fat, they are very healthy for you but remember, don't make them your entire diet, don't forget fruits and vegatables, and drink plenty of water and don't drink too much pop! Hope that helped. [ blondebaby1016's advice column | Ask blondebaby1016 A Question ]
