music and backgrounds
I am new here and i have been looking at peoples advice colum and I was wondering how do you get those backgrounds and music on your colum?I alredy have an advice colum:)

hey i am not so sure about the music but the backgrounds what you do is...under Miscellaneous go to page backgrounds copy & paste the link above were it says you can see this backgoround here or something then go to Column Settings & paste the link under page backgorund URL... Hope i helped... IF ya ever need nething just ask!!!!

Well to start you could uhmm go to column settings on the side of your screen and itll bring up some weired crap well after you scroll al little bit you can see there sre two links if you read them one will be for color changing on your column adn the other will be for backgrounds !!! well i hope i helped

To get the backrounds you go under where it says welcome________, and cilck columsetting and that should get you there! hop i helped u <<<<<TT>>>>>

hey i can help you on this one!
backgrounds: when you go to column settings, before you get to where you put the color codes in the boxes and stuff, you will two links about it. one will be about color codes, and the other is premade backgrounds that the advicenators ppl made. go there. then browse through there until you find the one you like. when you do, copy the code. then go to column settings again. in the second box, paste the code. then click on save or update at the bottom.
music: go to my column and click on sheree. when you find the song you want copy the code below the title then go to profile settings and paste it in your about me box.

Those are three important links in customizing your advice column ;)
With style.php, you can choose the colors of your links etc and background. You can also choose which style to use, but they are premade and limited. If you actually want to create your own, you need a paid account now.
With settings.php you can enter some things where there is a bio section where you can type some things about yourself.
With backgrounds.php you can pick out a background for your advice column.
So yes, you can spiffy up your advice column, but if you want to make your own or use one other than the provided ones, you'll have to get a paid account.
