Criminal Records Online

I know all sex offenders have to be registered online; but does anyone know the website for all criminal records ot the people in your area? I know there IS a site because one of my friends was looking at it before but she didn't remember the address. Does anyone happen to know the website? If it helps, I'm looking for criminal records in Virginia. Thanks.
