Prude-One who is excessively concerned with being or appearing to be proper, modest, or righteous.
As you can see you can use the word prude not just relating to sex.,,but if someone was so proper and they went to a BBQ ..and didnt want to sit on the ground for instance, someone might say "hey dont be so prude"
ususally people use the word prude relating to sex.
well it depends on the person on what prude is. Lets say a girl is going out with a sex maniac and she wont have sex with him...he might call her prude
someone else who isnt a sex maniac might just want to kiss their bf or gf of one month and if he/she is to shy, someone might say "dont be so prude"
