Razhie answered Tuesday June 21 2005, 8:13 pm: It basically means you take alot of work to keep happy. Some people will just call you high maintenance if you take good care of your apperance, other people call you high mantenance if you demand too much of your friends or boyfriends and are a bitch if you don't get it.
So it can be a compliment or an insult, depending on how it is said. If you spend a whole bunch of time on your apperance every day then you are probably that kind of high maintenance. If you find yourself punishing your friends for not doing what you want you might be the bitchy kind. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]

HyperactiveMiss answered Tuesday June 21 2005, 8:07 pm: High "maintenance" you mean? That means you need a lot to keep you happy. Sometimes it's used in an exaggerated or jokingly way, sometimes it's not.
