What should i do if i just found out that my friend (14) is being abused by her father at home? should i dob him in? i know that she still loves him and all, but...why?

Wow, that's sad how a father can abuse their own child. In my opinion, you should tell your parents because they would know more of what to do. If you don't feel comfotable talking to your parents about it, I would say go to the authorities yourself. The abuse won't stop unless some action is takin. Usually when children get abused, they still love their parents if they are the one doing the abusing. They usually do because after all, they are their parents. It's unconditional love, loving them no matter what. Even though she loves him, he is hurting her physically, and mentally, more than likely. Some action should be taken or she could end up really hurt in the end. Hope I helped some.
