hey, im 13 and im a gurl. i have this friend (thats also a gurl) and i guess you could say that, she basically adores me. and i cant say that i feel the same. i mean shes cool and all but i dont really like her that much sometimes. like i dont mind being just friends but shes always hanging around me but if i dont talk to her about my problems and go to someone else or if i just hang out with someone else, she gets mad.. she tries not to show it but i know shes mad inside. how do i say that i dont want to be "best" friends but at least stay friends with her and not hurt her feelings at the same time? cause shes REALLY sensative! =\

Wow.. this is a toughy... Um, sounds like she basically looks up to you or wants to be like you... i understand though.. Sometimes theres nothing you can do, whenever yall hang out take it as a compliment or just remember that she looks up to you and your like her role-model. Its kinda hard not to hurt her feelings if you tell her because thats just how it is... Okay, picture you and your like absolute BEST friend or who you think is your BEST friend, now think if she thought of you this way. how would you want her to tell you that she just wants to be friends but not BEST friends? it would be hard and you will get hurt... maybe w/time yall can become closer and you never know you might need her just make sure that you dont make the wrong decition in losin a friendship that you may need later on cuz she may not be there! Sorry i cant really help... but what i would do is talk to her, and maybe introducing her to some other people and maybe she'll bond better with them? im not sure... just an idea, sorry gurl!
