Question Posted Thursday June 16 2005, 6:56 pm

One of my friends is acting different. But, I guess the same at the same time. It's just really confusing. I love talking to her, but sometimes I wish I wasn't because she can get...well, in a bad mood and take it all out on me if I didn't do anything.
And also...How can you tell someone what's wrong in your life, when you dont even know yourself? I mean, you know that something is wrong, but you cant find it. And life is just so stressing and depressing for you. How can you explain it to someone so they can try to help when you cant even explain it to yourself?
And one more thing (sorry to get on your nerves). How can you tell someone you love them, when they dont think you do? How do you make them see that you care...when they say you dont? And...how can you tell them it breaks your heart to see them hurt, when they say your lying?

Okay, to talk to you about the first part of what you said. Some people, most people, change; it's a part of life. They may be acting different without knowing it themself. Maybe you should talk to your friend about it, but not in a mean way. A way that won't get her in one of her "bad moods." Some people just get in bad moods. That's also a part of life. Maybe she has something going wrong in her life too, maybe she can't explain what it is either, or maybe she just doesn't want to, yet.
Now, about your second part of "Advice asking," Maybe you can't really explain to your friend what is wrong, but maybe how she can help. Maybe telling her that just being there is helping you, or that just talking to her is helping. I think that life gets stressful and depressing for just about everyone, at some point. Don't fret; God doesn't ever give you anything that you can't handle. Just remember that. If you really want to let her know what is wrong. Just tell her that it's just the stress that the days can bring, and that you, yourself, are changing also, and it's a little too much to handle at the moment. I am sure all people can relate/understand that.
And for your last thing, which, by the way, you aren't getting on my nerves, I AM here to give advice, remember?!?! And, I say, that just tell them that you love them, regardless of whether they believe it or not. You will know the truth in your heart, and they probably will too. And to show that you care, I would say just be there for them, when they need you. Actions speak louder than words. Don't just say you care, show it. And as for the breaking heart thing, I would say just tell them. Maybe they don't know how you feel. Maybe you should be more open to them, and in return, they will be more open to you. Maybe you will find out why they don't believe you. Maybe they have a trust issue?
Sweetie, just try to be a great friend, and be there for your friends, and they will be thankful, and be a great friend back. Like they say, you can't chose your family, but you can chose your friends. You chose those certain friends for a reason. Apparently, you want to keep the friendship alive, coming to an online "advice giver" and all.

Hope I helped some. Feel free to ask anymore questions if needed.

Love always,
Kerry
