sublime_burritos answered Thursday June 16 2005, 1:06 am: noxema's something i try to stay away from at all cost, but that's just me. pimple scars are just like any other scar and will fade with time and scar medications, but probably not your face wash. the best thing for pimple scars, is to avoid them by properly taking care of blimishes when the arise. put medications such as Clean and Clear maximum strength invisible blemish treatment or other medications with ingredients such as salicylic acid, which help heal the pimple and reduce the appearance of scars. also avoid touching the blimish and definitely don't pop or pick at it, because that will cause scarring. i'm sorry i couldn't help you more with fading the scars after they form, but i'm not sure of anything other than medications like mederma for scars. hope i was of some help <3 [ sublime_burritos's advice column | Ask sublime_burritos A Question ]
