I'm going to summer school so i have to pack my lunches once again. They don't sell any lunches, unfortunately because i would sometimes buy my lunch so i didn't really face this problem.
?- are there any good substitues to the boring sandwich that i can easily prepare for sack lunches?

karenR answered Tuesday June 14 2005, 1:44 am: You can pack a salad or whatever floats yer boat!
Just get one of those things that you throw in the freezer and put it in with your lunch to keep it cold. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
kaleidoscope_eyes answered Monday June 13 2005, 11:05 pm: You could make a wrap type thing with a tortilla and whatever meats/cheeses you wanted. I'd stay away from lunchables though. You could also bring Salad (with or without some type of meat), Pasta Salad (which is just cold pasta), You could go to your favorite resturant and get something the night before, and muffins are always good. If you have access to a microwave you could make popcorn and have seasonings for it. You could also bring leftovers. [ kaleidoscope_eyes's advice column | Ask kaleidoscope_eyes A Question ]
eLiSe answered Monday June 13 2005, 10:23 pm: Well, Lunchables are easy to bring lol!! But how old are you? bc if you're too old people might laugh but if you like lunchables then bring them and don't worry about what people might think (i like the pizza ones myself) haha! But also, bring like salads and fruit salads that are already made at the grocery store or something!! I love those haha! Just remember to pack a fork! Love yah! HyperactiveMiss answered Monday June 13 2005, 9:40 pm: Lunchables! lol, there are lots of different kinds so you don't get sick of them. You could also try bringing those tuna cracker or chicken cracker thingies. Snacks are easy; you could bring chips, pudding, jello, yogurt, fruit snacks, fruit, etc. How about bringing some salad? Bring a hot dog? Chicken Nuggets? Basically you could bring anything from home, but it depends on whether you'll eat it cold or not. DaysGoBy answered Monday June 13 2005, 9:38 pm: I usually take a bowl of cut up fruit (like apples, watermelon, blueberries, grapes...) and low fat yogurt to dip the fruit in or any small vegetables (like baby carrots, broccoli, cut up pieces of green/red peppers...) and Italian or ranch dressing to dip them in. Then usually I take a bottle of propel water. (flavored water) ... I don't know if this is what you meant or not, but it's a simple lunch and you can mix it up more than just a plain sandwich. You could try taking different fruits and maybe some different flavored yogurts. [ DaysGoBy's advice column | Ask DaysGoBy A Question ]
