Jacket

Question Posted Monday June 13 2005, 2:42 pm

What exactly does it mean when a guy gives a girl his jacket? Does it have any significance because you see it alot in movies & stuff. Is it "guy code" for anything?

It used to be part of the whole "going steady" routine, along with getting the class ring.
Seems like these days kids go "steady" at the drop of a hat. No more dating around until you find the special person you want to go stady with. So, I really doubt it means much these days...but, I could be wrong. :)

Depends. Does he like you? Were you cold? Did you ask for it? Are you friends? Does he flirt with you? Are you more then friends?

Ask yourself that first.
