hmm..what to cook for the person that matters

Question Posted Monday June 13 2005, 12:37 am

Alright, I have a boyfriend..he loves to cook and we have been together for 10 months and we both plan on making it longer. BUT now he wants me to cook. I suck-I have to ask him everything..How much meat I should put in the hamburgerhelper cause he's mom had to much meat in the package. How to cook everything! I hate it. I want to feel like the perfect girlfriend cause I love fast food and I could live off of it but its not healthy and we both want to be. Please Help me with this stupid question but serious.

well you could always try cooking together. me and my bf tried that and it was so fun. he was the one who did most of the cooking butthen i decided i want to do something nice for him so i suggested we cooked together. it doesnt matter then that you dont know what your doing bocause he's there to help. it brought us really close too because you kind of do the whole bonding thing when you do something together and especially when he's teaching you.
hope i helped!

expecting perfection from you or your mate will ultimately bring disappointment. what i would do is cook together. explain to him that you are not a cooker. you would like to learn and if he is the expert, you can be the student. and you gte the experience on "bonding" by cooking together. it could also lead to some more "fun" activities. happing cooking.
