Most school's have drama clubs that you can get involved in. This will give you expierence and the basics of theaters ie: how you should move, talk, etc... When you're in college you can take a theatre class there. My sister takes theatre at her college and I hear it's a great class. Also check for auditions in your city or near you. There are always auditions going on everywhere. Even the smallest more unimportant roles can get you into the movie buisness. One thing to remember is don't get scammed! there are many people who will make you pay money and dont plan on giving you anything in return. See if it's legitite first by checking out the place. Just remember, it takes a long time to get into movies. You have to really WORK and practice. the best places are going to acting schools. Take Orlando Bloom for example when he was young he went to a community theatre to learn acting. Then he studied in London and there he acted in the National Youth Theatre. He then attended British American Drama Academy. Lastly, he attended Guildhall School of drama and arts, this is where he discovered there were auditions for Lord of the Rings. He made his audition tape for Faramir and look where he ended up! But let's not forget it took him quite a few years to get there. So if you're entirely serious, start at your school then move on to acting schools near you. Hope I helped! [ misunderstood64's advice column | Ask misunderstood64 A Question ]
