I'm guessing this isn't normal..and since she is 6mths/7mths, I'm also guessing you haven't fixed her yet. So, she's probably in heat.

i have a tabby mix and she dose that all the time. don't worry she is making whatever she rubbs on her's. her meowing is fine. if she acts sick.... then you might have a problem... godd luck with your kitten!!

My cats are 21 years old and still do that. It's just normal cat behavior.

since your kitten is young it is normal for it to do this. the kitten is rubbing against things to mark her scent and it is mewing for attention. just pat it and brush it and use a laserpointer.(kittens love to chase that) it should stop mewing if you do that and it will stop rubbing against things when it is finished marking it's territory on things using oil form its cheeks.(the oil does not smell) hope i helped rate me.
