What to wear??

Question Posted Thursday June 9 2005, 10:18 pm

I'm 5' tall, 125 lbs, 34 yrs old, 34D. Short and plump. I wear big shirts and tight jeans to hide this. I really want to dress for my age as well as my body type. Any suggestions or pictures of outfits???

Hi! Fit is the best thing.... don't wear tight jeans, find a good cut and the correct size for You. Go to a tailor and have them hemmed, it's only about $7

I stopped because i dont think you want to look at all these as it is but if you want more inbox me and i will be more than happy to look just hurr cause im going to the beach on 6-11 and wont be back til l6-17
I think you should wear shirts that fit with a sort of V neck. Also maybe a skirt and small heels to make you look taller and skinnier! Good Luck!!!

With dresses - You can add inches to your height be adding a head-to-toe ruffle (in dresses) and it will create a n illusion of length. But don't make the ruffle too like "showy" otherwise it's takes away from your body. Also, a long fitter, soild-color dress will work the most, you don't want excessive floral/flowery/busy prints that just attract the eyes to your stomach and make you look bigger than you already are.

Clothes in general that are 1-2 colors, not that many will work and fitted clothes so your body won't cling to them.

In addition, wear tops that are longth length, I'm sure you've seen all those "bohemian" tops that are all the rage right now, those really add to increase your torso length.

AVOID very full skirts because they add to your stomach and basically increase the look of your waist size and overpower your frame.

Halter tops will add to your body and enhance them very nicly.

Also, don't wear the latest trends of the "clam diggers" or mid-way capris that go to your knee caps.

GOODLUCK LOVELY!
Let me know how everything works out! :)
